The Nipissing-Timiskaming Conservative Association was founded in 2004 with the redistricting of the former Nipissing and Timiskaming-Cochrane ridings and founding of the Conservative Party of Canada.  The riding stretches from Trout Creek in the south to New Liskeard in the north and from Mattawa in the east to Nipissing Township in the west.  The largest municipalities are the City of North Bay and the City of Temiskaming Shores.
